I agree with Carlos. Elegantly simple shot, but you need to either include much more of the pot or none at all.

Agree with Carlos and Steven, cropping the lip off the pot would simplify the image even further. A nice cropping point would be where the bevel in window siding abruptly ends. one other minor, perhaps a small rotation of the image... -1 to -1 and a half degress ought to do it. All in all a fantastic shot, B&W was a terrific choice for mood and lighting!

simple... but very nice... i for one like the crop as it is... my only crit is that it's so noisey... try cleaning it useing NeatImage or something. :)

Hhm..I think cropping the pic will choke the composition but I agree with the tilting of the image. :)

very nice, i would have cut a bit of the right side but i love the lighting in this situation and the contrast it makes is really awesome. It's a bit grainy but overall it's dueable. Nice composition

Great Job

2) i think the rim here is necessary... else the plant would be a little uninvolved into the whole scenario. but i agree a bout cropping it (a bit!) if you showed only the very upper part of it, then it wouldn't be a snapshot-element.
the rest looks still pretty good
